Vice President Dr Bawumia has outlined ways he intends to ensure the growth of the creative arts industry should he be made president in 2025.
Addressing the nation on Wednesday, Dr Bawumia said that to increase private and public investment in tourism and the creative arts he will focus particularly on policies, tax and other incentives.
Among other things, he proposed the creation of digital and streaming platforms for artistes.

“We will build on the Year of Return, Beyond the Return, December in Ghana. We will introduce other initiatives such as digital and streaming platforms for our artists to make tourism and the creative arts a growth pole in Ghana.”
Dr Bawumia added that his government will also introduce tax incentives for film producers and musicians.
“To boost tourism and job creation, my government will implement an e-visa policy for all international visitors to Ghana to enable visas to be obtained in minutes subject to security and criminal checks," he added.
