The shocking demise of the Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for the Ejisu constituency, John Kumah, has left his constituents and party loyalists in deep sorrow.
The Ejisu constituency MP passed away in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, following a brief illness.

But unfortunately, he was unable to attend due to ill-health.
Mr Twumasi explained that upon recognising the urgency of the situation, they contacted one of his doctors from Accra, and medication was administered.
He continued that they then planned to fly the late Deputy Finance Minister to Accra for further arrangements to send him to Germany for advanced treatment.
“Unfortunately, he was not fit to board a flight so his wife came - the mom and dad were around so we decided to bring an ambulance to take him to Accra. His senior brother was also on standby doing everything possible to make sure that he traveled that night,” he said.
Mr Twumasi emphasised that despite the family's efforts, the situation worsened en route, prompting a diversion to the Suhum Government Hospital, where he eventually succumbed.
