Ghana’s Joselle Mensah is through to the women’s 50m backstroke final after finishing third in her heat.
Mensah finished with a time of 33.73 seconds, behind South Africa’s Jill Meyer and Algeria’s Raina Nefsi.
Mensah’s time was the sixth fastest overall in the heats.
Her teammate, Unilez Takyi, also qualified for the final, finishing third with a time of 35.22 seconds.
The women’s 50m backstroke final will take place later on Tuesday, during the evening session.
