The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bui Power Authority, Hon. Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzameshie, says a study has revealed that the Anloga District has the highest wind speed capable of generating electricity that could be fed into the national grid.
This breakthrough is set to revolutionize the way renewable energy is harnessed and utilized in the country.
Addressing attendees at a ceremony to commission a 6-unit classroom block constructed by the Bui Power Authority for the Anloga Avete D/A Basic School, Hon. Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzameshie expressed his enthusiasm for the potential of wind energy to contribute significantly to the national energy supply.
He explained that the study had pinpointed areas with the highest wind speed, which could be utilized to generate clean and sustainable electricity for the nation.
