The National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP aspirant for the Effia Constituency in Takoradi, used the Easter period to touch the lives of people in the area.
During the festive season, in the company of the Constituency executives, guided by the values of love and sacrifice, he embarked on a journey that embodied leadership and service to mankind.

Despite his being a Muslim, he used Easter to reach out to some constituents bridging religious boundaries.
In his address, he called for unity and pledged his commitment.
“I’m committed to supporting our people while celebrating with them occasions that hold relevance to them irrespective of religion or creed. We are united and stand together to build our beloved Effia Constituency,” he said.

The array of activities commenced on Holy Thursday with a donation to the EKMA District Football Association.
The momentum continued through Easter Friday, with Mr Majeed spearheading a football gala for local teams with 12 participating teams, each receiving two leather footballs, comprehensive training kits, and bespoke football jerseys.
On Easter Saturday, he focused his efforts on the elderly, widows, and the infirm within the Effia Constituency.

He also distributed vital food items such as rice, cooking oil, essential ingredients, sugar, and milk among others.
The climax of his Easter activities was on Easter Sunday, as he graced the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) and The Church of Pentecost.
Following the donations and visits, leaders from diverse associations, churches and teams conveyed their deep gratitude to Majeed Dakorogu, extending their best wishes for his future endeavours.
