This morning on Newsfile, host Samson Lardy Anyenini and his panellists discussed KPMG’s report on Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited (SML) contract.
An investigative report from The Fourth Estate and subsequently confirmed by KPMG after its audit revealed that SML received the contract for 10 years and was awarded an amount of $100 million which SML claims was false.
Earlier this week, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) was projected to deplete its funds in meeting its financial commitments to beneficiaries in the future.
A report by the International Labour Organisation indicated that based on its actuarial valuation, SSNIT reserves are expected to reach zero by 2036.
Also, the host and his panellists delved into the official outdoor of the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) presidential running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for the 2024 December elections.
