Morocco's RS Berkane secured their place in the CAF Confederation Cup final after USM Alger failed to honour the second leg of their semi-final showdown over the Moroccans’ jersey.
Despite USMA's presence at the Berkane Municipal Stadium, the players remained in their dressing room before eventually leaving the stadium altogether.
The initial leg of the semi-final match between RS Berkane and their Algerian counterparts USM Alger encountered complications earlier for the same reason.
The fixture was called off due to a dispute over the team jerseys in Algeria, leading to RS Berkane being awarded a 3-0 win.
The controversy erupted when the Moroccan team arrived in Algeria ahead of the first leg.
Customs officials confiscated Berkane's jerseys because they featured a map of Morocco that included the disputed Western Sahara region.
RS Berkane will now face Zamalek in the first leg of the continental tournament's final on May 12. The return leg is scheduled for May 19 in Cairo.
Zamalek secured their final berth by defeating Ghana's Dreams FC with a commanding 3-0 aggregate victory in the semi-finals.
