Dreams FC head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, says he has picked up valuable lessons from the club’s participation in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup that will help future generations.
The Still Believe lads lost 3-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday in the semifinal second leg that ensured the Egyptian powerhouse progressed to the final.
Speaking after the game, the experienced coach was full of praise for his team, emphasizing the lessons picked from their fairytale run in their first ever campaign in Africa.
“We are young boys. Next time when we come here, we know how to go about it. I've picked up a lot professionally.
“We should behave like professionals. We should know how to treat certain situations around in the sport. You understand me? Look at what happened before we came here.
“So to me, I've learned a lot of lessons that I will impart it to the sports people in future. Because if I get the opportunity, I will start from day one.”
