The Ghana Police Service has reportedly arrested Frank Nkrumah, the Constituency Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Mpohor, for allegedly aiding the registration of a minor during the ongoing limited voter registration exercise.
Mr Nkrumah, who also serves as a teacher at Mpohor Senior High School, was taken into custody on Friday, May 10, following allegations of registering an underage individual to vote.
His arrest followed a complaint filed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Executives for Mpohor.
Frank Nkrumah, also called Azeto, has been detained by the Mpohor Police to facilitate ongoing investigations.
