Former Manchester United and Arsenal forward, Robin van Persie, has been named manager of Eredivise side, sc Heerenveen.
After his retirement from playing in 2019, the legendary forward has been involved in a number of coaching roles at Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Heerenveen confirmed the appointment on Friday, across their social media platforms.
Van Persie is highly rated in Dutch circles as a potential future top head coach.
