Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has revealed he is yet to hold talks with Callum Hudson-Odoi over the possibility of representing Ghana.
Ahead of the announcement of a 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic, there were reports the Nottingham Forest winger had decided to play for Ghana.
Hudson-Odoi had previously been in Ghana for holidays following the end of the 2023/24 season with his presence fueling the speculations.
However, during the press conference, revealed he has not had a conversation with the former England youth international yet.
"It is difficult to talk about the future. I haven’t spoken to him yet," he said.
"To be honest, my head is not there at all. I’m fully focused on Mali."
Despite his injury, Hudson-Odoi enjoyed a good maiden season with Forest being involved in 10 goals in 35 matches which included eight Premier League goals.
