Vincent Ekow Assafuah, an aide to Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has highlighted a trait of his boss that has significantly contributed to his success over the years.
The Old Tafo MP noted that, unlike other leaders who dominate their subordinates, Napo, the newly introduced NPP running mate, is distinguished by his exceptional listening skills.
"He's someone who adheres to rules, and from 2017 to 2020, for the first time in the history of the education sector, there were no strikes," Mr Assafuah shared on PM Express on Tuesday.

The governing NPP officially introduced Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to their flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 general elections on Tuesday, July 9.

The event at Kumasi Jubilee Park in the Ashanti Region, the party's stronghold, saw the attendance of significant figures, including President Akufo-Addo, the Council of Elders, Members of Parliament, and other key members.
On Thursday, July 4, the NPP's National Council officially endorsed the current Energy Minister as Dr. Bawumia's running mate.
According to Assafuah, "Napo listens and ensures his ideas are also heard, making him a grassroots person."
Praising his former boss, Assafuah said Napo "is someone who knows that those who love him do so deeply, and those who hate him, do so intensely because he makes tough decisions while also listening."
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo also commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his support as Vice President. He expressed confidence that the duo of Bawumia and Prempeh would advance Ghana's development and urged citizens to vote for them.
He highlighted Dr. Prempeh's hard work and outstanding service as the reason for his selection as running mate, particularly noting the success of the Free SHS program.
