Ghanaian actress and producer, Kafui Danku, has refuted rumours that she is a pimp and has been engaging in pimping activities.
The actress expressed shock when confronted with the question by Doreen Avio, stating that she has often heard surprising and untrue things about herself.
According to Kafui Danku, this is an example of the 'pull her down' syndrome, citing a previous instance where someone published a false article claiming she had jilted someone, which never occurred.
“I have never heard this before. Oh, how, Doreen, you know me. I have never heard this, honestly. I wouldn’t be too surprised if it was a Kokonsa group. There have been so many things I have heard about myself that surprise me.
“At a point, someone sent me a screenshot of an article saying that I was once married to a doctor in Atlanta and I jilted him and ran to Ghana. At that time, I had never been to Atlanta,” she said.
She added: “I want to believe this is one of those pull-her-down talks or just something to put dirt on her talks and all that but I have never heard that before.”
Kafui Danku is a Ghanaian actress, producer and entrepreneur. She is known for her roles in Ghanaian movies and advocacy for women’s rights and empowerment, and is currently working on her latest project which she says will be out soon.
She is currently on set with popular actors James Gardiner, Salma Mumin, Fordjour and others for her upcoming movie 'Fear Women', which she says will be released soon.
