Ghanaian rap sensation, Elom Adablah, popularly known as E.L., has shared the fascinating story of how he ventured into the Azonto genre of music.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, E.L. revealed the catalyst behind his experimentation with Azonto.
Nshona Muzick, a music producer, played a pivotal role in E.L.'s transition to Azonto.

"The person who pushed me to start looking into that type of sound and experimenting with it and working more was Nshona Muzick," E.L. explained.
He reminisced about the vibrant energy emanating from Osu and Nungua, where he previously focused on Hip-Hop, and how Nshona Muzick suggested a change in their musical direction.
E.L. credited Nshona Muzick for introducing him to the Azonto sound.
"I began to see from his angle the energy that he brings comes from so that is when we all started and he played the 'You Go Kill Me' beat," E.L. said in Pidgin.
"I fixed my lyrics on the music, but Shauna played fifty per cent of the beat."
When asked about the “King of Azonto”, E.L. responded, "For me, if you ask me who my king is, I will say Nshona Muzick."
He also revealed that Nshona Muzick is synonymous with Krnykman, but the latter represents the hip-hop facet of Azonto, showcasing the producer's versatility.
