The Adentan police have intensified a search for a scrap dealer who bolted away after he was caught with electrical cables.
According to a source, the dealer ignored the police officers around and went straight to cut some electrical cables from some streetlights around the Adentan Divisional Command.
The source said when he was asked to surrender what he had on him, they realized it was electrical cables and when the Passerby decided to take him to the Police Station, he extricated himself in a flash and took to his heels.
His scrap wheel container was pushed to the Adenta Police Divisional Headquarters and was reported to the Station Officer, Chief Inspector Dartey where the electric cables, a cutlass including the scrap wheel container were handed over for further investigations
