Deliberations over the planned demonstration by Democracy Hub have ended in a stalemate.
The meeting was between the Ghana Police Service and the organisers.
According to the Director of Ghana Police Public Affairs, ACP Grace Ansah Akrofi the pressure group refused to alter their demonstration routes.

"Police, therefore, suggested the following seven locations to them for consideration. the Cantonments Post Oflice-DVLA stretch, the VAG Association Junction-MTN Head Office on the Liberation Road, El Wak Side Park, Obra Spot, Kawukudi Park, Efua Sutherland Park, the frontage of the Trade Fair."
The group's preferred site for the September 21 protest was the Revolution Square in front of the Jubilee House.
The police also rejected five alternative routes suggested by Democracy Hub.
