CEO of Emigoh Ghana, Stephan Eku, has emphasized his company's commitment to promoting health and fitness through corporate sports at the official launch of the JoySports Invitational.
The highly anticipated tournament was officially launched on Tuesday, September 24th, and is set to take place on Saturday, October 26th, at the University of Ghana, Legon.
During the launch, Eku highlighted the importance of sports in promoting corporate engagement, health, and team building.
“I really didn’t want to miss this opportunity. I was stuck in traffic, so I had to park my car and jump onto an Okada,” he shared.
“We [Emigoh Ghana] have won in football and the penalty shootout before, and as you know, we believe in health and fitness.
"So, whenever there's anything sports-related, we’re involved. Wherever you organize these events, we’ll be there because we believe in your [JoySports Invitational] vision.” he added.
Emigoh Ghana, a key partner of the Invitational, has consistently supported initiatives that promote wellness and teamwork within the corporate community.
The launch was also attended by other prominent corporate leaders, including Mr. Adolf Tetteh Adjei, CEO of Sapholda Ventures, among others.
This year’s JoySports Invitational will feature a wide range of events, including the Men’s Football Competition, Women’s Penalty Shootout, Mixed 4×100m Relay, Volleyball, Basketball Shooting, Lime and Spoon Relay, and more.
This edition promises to be bigger and better than ever.
One of the most exciting highlights of the day will be the CEO’s penalty shootout, where some of Ghana’s top executives will compete to see who has the best shot!
