A pregnant woman, identified as Vera, was seen being escorted out of the Accra court after being remanded for two weeks.
She is among the 39 protestors remanded over the demonstration by a pressure group, Democracy Hub.
Vera, who is four months pregnant, claims she was mistakenly rounded up with protesters while returning from church with her husband on Sunday.

According to Vera, her family was unaware of her current predicament for 48 hours.
The visibly distressed woman was heard shouting "Me and my man, we were not even protesting. And then you take us."
She further lost her cool. "Our parents don’t even know where we are," she added.
The entire group, numbering about 39, was transported in different buses to and from the court under heavy security presence.
Meanwhile, a bench warrant has been issued for one person who failed to show up in court.
Convenor for the #FixTheCountry group, Oliver Baker-Vormawor is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
The arrests occurred over the three-day protest at the 37 Roundabout, where the demonstrators were voicing concerns over issues such as illegal small-scale mining (galamsey) and economic mismanagement
