A traditional ruler has stated that he cannot risk the future of his children by voting for a leader who does not believe in the free senior high school (Free SHS) policy.
Oguahyia Oduro Panin Birikoran, Edubiasehene, who stated this, said three of his five kids had benefited from the NPP’s free senior high school policy and he wanted the other two to also benefit from the policy.
“This is one of the many reasons I believe Ghanaians must vote to support the NPP to continue with the free SHS policy.”
Oguahyia Oduro Birikoran, made these remarks when Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate paid a courtesy call to him at his palace at New Edubiase, in the Adansi South District.
He commended government for the many infrastructural projects being implemented in the area and said the people would continue to show support for the NPP party.
Dr Opoku Prempeh, on his part, thanked the people of the Adansi enclave for their continued support for the party and said it was important the people of New Edubiase voted massively for the NPP presidential and parliamentary candidate in the December elections.
This, he said, would enable the NPP candidate Mr George Oduro to reclaim the seat and continue with the implementation of the various development projects he initiated when he was in office.
