Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has apologised to Ghanaians following the team’s lackluster performances against Sudan during the October international break in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Otto Addo’s side played out a 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium before losing 2-0 in Libya in the reverse fixture.
The team’s performances in both games adds to the unimpressive run of form since June with fans expressing disappointment in the team.
Kudus, who was made the team’s captain in the absence of Thomas Partey, has come out with a statement apologising to Ghanaians for the Black Stars outings.

The results from the two games leaves Ghana on the verge of missing out on a place in Morocco next year.
They now sit third in Group F with two points and trail Sudan who are in second by five points.
Ghana would have to win the remaining two games - Angola and Niger - in November and hope Sudan lose both of theirs as well to stand a chance of qualifying for the continental event.
