A highly fueled National Petroleum Authority (NPA), battled past opposition to register a clean sweep of the table tennis competition.Â
In the men’s draw, they faced strong competition from The Luckiest and Nationwide Technologies before taking on Sapholda ventures in the final.
The match which was contested on a team basis, saw Sapholda win the first match, before NPA tied it, forcing a decider which NPA won convincingly.
The women’s draw saw NPA receive a bye in the first round, before crushing Escort Securities in a one sided semifinal.
ARB Apex Bank was the final obstacle standing in the way of NPA in the final. After a keenly contested battle, NPA, claimed the win in straight sets.
The event, put together by JoySports was sponsored by the Minerals Commission, McDan Group, The Luckiest, Skechers, Emigoh Ghana, Peeva Beverages, and Caveman watches.
