Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste Camidoh has explained why chefs are important in the daily lives of musicians.

According to Camidoh, most musicians follow a very strict dietary regimen. They are always moving from one place to another to perform and barely have time to prepare their meals. 

Eating right, however, is an important act they don’t take for granted.

Speaking to the host of Big Chef Tertiary, Michelle Agyekum, and the remaining six teams, he explained that chefs play a very important role in the lives of musicians. They ensure that musicians eat healthy foods that give them the energy to perform and focus on their crafts.

“No one can do without food. That is why chefs like you are very important. Musicians need food to perform, and some of us are on diet. I am very careful what I take. There is a good possibility for chefs and musicians to link up and work together,” he explained.

The sugarcane hitmaker also advised the remaining teams to work hard on building a good brand in the culinary industry that will attract the attention of people in the entertainment industry.

Camidoh further encouraged the contestants to focus on the corrections made by judges in the competition instead of dwelling on the negative comments. This will help them sharpen their skills in areas where they are not strong.

According to him, after releasing his song ‘For My Lover’, he expected it to trend and do well the same way his song ‘Sugarcane’ did. 

Although it did not turn out the way he wanted, he still loved it because of the hard work he put into creating the song. He asked them to learn to love their creations and better them regardless of the comments people may make.
