Ambassador Sam, who made a striking entrance dressed in traditional attire, showcased Ghana’s cultural legacy with Two Royals, a depiction of a king and queen in vibrant kente cloth symbolising Ghana’s history and artistry.
In an interview ahead of the event, she expressed pride in representing Ghana and emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in enhancing tourism and trade relations.
“Today, we celebrate not just our fashion and tourism but the very essence of our identity as Ghanaians through culture,” she stated. “This runway serves as a bridge, connecting our heritage with the global community."
Known for her dedication to promoting Ghanaian and African culture on the world stage, Ambassador Sam shared her excitement to make the showcase an "unforgettable one."
The event was supported by key figures in Broward County, Florida, including Paola Isaac, Roger Pants, Dr. Naana Dede Jeuni, and Dr. Neene Odjemumo, who worked as a team to highlight Ghana and Africa on an international platform.
