Reputable cosmetics firm Essential Cosmetics has strengthened its commitment to health and community support by making breast cancer awareness a central part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
In partnership with Sonotech Medical Center, Essential Cosmetics recently celebrated breast cancer survivors and contributed to their ongoing treatment needs through a special October event.
The pink-themed event served as both a fundraiser and a tribute to those affected by breast cancer, bringing together advocates, supporters, and survivors.

Through the generosity of its supporters and its contributions, Essential Cosmetics raised GH¢7,000, which it donated directly to Sonotech Medical Center.
This funding will enhance access to life-saving treatments and ongoing patient care at Sonotech.
“Our decision to champion breast cancer awareness reflects our deep commitment to health and our community,” said Joyce Konadu Idun, Founder and CEO of Essential Cosmetics.
“As a brand dedicated to promoting wellness and natural beauty, we believe it’s vital to support causes that align with our mission to foster both inner and outer health.”

The initiative marks a stepping stone for Essential Cosmetics, which aims to lead future awareness campaigns and provide resources for educating the public on early detection, preventive measures, and available treatments.
"As part of this ongoing CSR effort, the brand plans to collaborate with medical experts and community leaders to create lasting change in breast cancer awareness and support.
The partnership with Sonotech Medical Center stands as both a philanthropic effort and a call to action for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer.
Essential Cosmetics envisions a supportive community that prioritises health, awareness, and the empowerment of survivors through continuous outreach and health-focused initiatives.

Looking ahead, Essential Cosmetics remains committed to using its platform to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by breast cancer, promoting awareness, health, and well-being throughout Ghana and beyond.
