Freddie Blay, the former National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has praised the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Mr Blay shared his admiration during an interview on Citi FM on Friday, 22nd November, highlighting Bawumia's significant role within the party.
The former Ellembelle MP underscored the importance of Bawumia's leadership, pointing out the positive impact his ideas have had not only on the NPP but also on the nation as a whole.
He commended Bawumia’s vision and the innovative approaches he has introduced, which he believes have been instrumental in shaping the party's direction.
Mr Blay also noted that Bawumia's vision has instilled a sense of hope among Ghanaians, adding that the NPP is fortunate to have his guidance at this critical juncture. He expressed confidence that Bawumia's leadership would continue to be a valuable asset to both the party and the country.
“In terms of ideas that we have from the presidential candidate and selling to the masses of this country, I think the ideas are attractive, they are believable, great hope for us, bring Ghanaians together and make this country have a lot of hope for the future.”
“I think we are lucky to have had Dr Bawumia around at this time,” he said.
