Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has praised the Lands Commission for its impressive digital transformation, marking a significant step forward in Ghana’s land administration and management.
As a strong proponent of digitalization, Dr Bawumia has consistently stressed the importance of using technology to foster economic growth and development.
His recognition of the Lands Commission’s digital progress highlights his commitment to advancing digitalization across various sectors of the economy.
Speaking at the commissioning of the new corporate office of the Lands Commission, the Vice President stated, “As the world rapidly evolves, digital transformation is essential for improving service delivery, ensuring accountability, and increasing transparency.”
He thus commended the Lands Commission for its efforts in this regard.
“With the aid of digitalization, the Lands Commission has been able to automate the land title certification which reduces the potential errors which may arise from manual process thereby significantly enhancing accuracy and efficiency,” he noted.
The new headquarters is a cutting-edge facility designed to support the Lands Commission in fulfilling its responsibilities.
It features advanced technological systems and offers modern office spaces, as well as amenities such as a baby care centre, a gym, and a contemporary auditorium with a 250-seat capacity, among other auxiliary facilities.
