Western North Regional Minister, Richard Rocky Joojo Obeng, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Western North for their unwavering support during his tenure in office.
As his term comes to a close, Mr Obeng reflected on the memories and experiences shared with various stakeholders, including paramount chiefs, religious leaders, and government officials.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Mr Obeng specifically thanked the paramount chiefs, including Nana Ogyeahohor Gyebi II and Katakyie Kwasi Bumagama II, for their collaboration and support during his tenure. He also appreciated the prayer support from the Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Church, Rt. Rev. Kwame Kyern-Ampomah, and the entire Sefwi Wiawso Diocese.

The Regional Minister acknowledged the sacrifices made by Bishop Nkuah Boateng and his team, who worked tirelessly on the Regional Peace Council with limited resources.
He also expressed his gratitude to the heads of churches in Western North and the Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Ahmed Adam, for their guidance and support.
As he prepares to hand over the reins, he called on his party, the New Patriotic Party, to reflect on their internal challenges and work towards drastic reforms. He emphasised the need for unity and openness, urging party members to visualize a stronger and more intact party.
