Kenya is set to strengthen its partnership with Ghana, expanding collaboration across key sectors including trade, investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, and oil and gas.
This move aims to unlock new economic opportunities and foster prosperity for the people of both countries.
The commitment was made during a meeting between Kenyan President William Ruto and Ghana’s President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
Kenya will enhance her relations with Ghana to include more sectors in trade and investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, oil and gas.

The two leaders engaged in discussions about broadening intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), emphasising its potential to revolutionise economic integration on the continent.
During the talks, President Ruto expressed gratitude to President-elect Mahama for publicly endorsing Raila Odinga’s candidacy for the African Union Commission chairperson role.
The Kenyan President also confirmed plans to attend Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony in Accra next month.
