In a remarkable comeback following their loss in the maiden edition of the Joy Prime Christmas Quiz contest for families, dubbed 'Quizmas,' the Quashie family emerged as the winners of the second edition.

Adelaide Quarshie and Margarete Quarshie, representing their family this time, gave their best effort to outperform the other participating families, including the Teks, Kuetuadu, and Afotey families.

Two families competed in the preliminary stage, which involved questions about Christmas celebrations, paving the way for the winning families from that stage to compete in the final.

The Quarshie family emerged as the winners after competing against the Kuetuadu family, advancing to face the Teks family, who had defeated the Afotey family in the first stage.

The final battle was a tough one for the Quarshie and Teks families, as the round included tricky questions. However, the Quarshies persevered and emerged victorious.

Margarete and Adelaide shared their excitement and experiences from the quiz.

“We’re very happy that we won. Actually, we had the vim that we would win, and God has done it, so we’re excited. Last season we were here and couldn’t make it, but this season, God has answered our prayer,” Margarete shared.

They expressed their utmost gratitude to Joy Prime for bringing families together to compete and have fun on Christmas Day. They also commended the producers of the programme for creating a platform for unity and networking.

“I’d like to thank Joy Prime for such a great opportunity. It wasn’t easy, but at least we’ve been able to get answers, and we’ve been enlightened. We thank all the producers who organised the programme,” Adelaide also expressed.

They urged families not to hesitate to participate in the next edition to experience the fun and excitement.

They took home fully-packaged hampers, accompanied by a weekend stay at a hotel, whereas the other families received hampers.
