President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Felix Gyamfi as the Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), with effect from 22nd January 2025.
Mr Gyamfi's appointment was made in an official letter signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to President John Dramani Mahama.
The appointment was made by Article 195(1) of the Constitution and the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).

The letter further stated that the appointment is subject to the constitutionally required advice of the governing Board of the Authority, to be provided in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Mr Gyamfi has been requested to confirm his acceptance of the role within fourteen (14) days.
The National Service Authority plays a vital role in preparing Ghanaian youth for national development, equipping them with the skills necessary for the job market, and empowering them through service to the nation.
