The first round of the 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League came to an end over the weekend with the matchday nine fixtures.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies' dominance in the Northern Zone continued after the first round of the campaign.
The former league winners finished the first half of the season with a 100% record, winning all nine games and seeming to be running away with the title in their zone.
Despite losing Joe Nana Adarkwa, the Nana Mma have kept a cool head and sit seven points clear at the top of the table.
Dreamz Ladies, who won the Women's Premier Super Cup, sit second in the zone following their win last weekend. They defeated Supreme Ladies in their final game of the opening round.
Northern Ladies with 16 points so are third on the league table with Fosu Royals sitting fourth after their defeat to Ampem Darkoa on Monday.
Kumasi Sports Academy and Sung Shining Ladies are the two struggling teams following their losses in the final game of the opening round with seven and three points respectively.
In the Southern Zone, Police Ladies maintained their position at the top of the table after playing out a goalless draw with Epiphany Warriors in their last game.

Police are joint-leaders with Hasaacas Ladies with both teams on 18 points after the first nine games.
A point from the game against Police means Epiphany sit third with just a point behind the top two.
LadyStrikers retained their spot in sixth position after being held to a 1-1 draw by Soccer Intellectuals over the weekend.
Berry Ladies look to be the team in the biggest trouble after picking up just three points in the first round.

They have won just one game all season and lost the other eight which leaves them at the bottom of the league table.
Jonina Ladies, who were involved in the 'fixture of the round' against Hasaacas last Friday have moved to fifth on the league table. They held the defending league champions to a goalless draw at the Auntie Aku Park
