In a significant show of commitment to the African market, a high-powered delegation from the CFAO Group Headquarters in Paris, France recently paid a visit to CFAO Mobility Ghana.
Led by the Group Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Richard Bielle, the delegation included Deputy CEO, Tatsuya Hirata; VP of HR, Communications & CSR, Cecile Desrez; CEO of Mobility Africa & French Overseas, Marc Hirschfeld and CEO of Mobility West Africa, Goran Krizmanic.
This visit was part of a broader initiative to strengthen relationships with local stakeholders, gain firsthand insights into market operations, and inspire teams across the region. Their journey covered four key African markets—beginning in Nigeria, followed by Benin and Togo, and culminating in Ghana—underscoring CFAO Group’s operational ethos “With Africa for Africa” and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
In Ghana, the delegation received a warm welcome at the Togo-Ghana border from CFAO Mobility Ghana’s Managing Director- Adedamola Adelabu, and Communications Manager - Dennis Gawuga. Their first stop was the CFAO Mobility Tema Equipment facility, where they were led on a tour by the Director of Operations (Equipment) - Yanick Camerman and management team.
The tour concluded with a tree-planting ceremony led by Group CEO Richard Bielle, symbolizing CFAO’s dedication to sustainability. The leadership commended the facility for its outstanding operational efficiency and its pivotal role in driving Ghana’s industrial growth.

The visit continued to Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Ghana (TTMG), the nation’s only enhanced Knock-Down (KD) local vehicle assembly plant, which assembles over 1000 components to produce the Suzuki Swift. The delegation expressed satisfaction with the facility, and highlighted CFAO’s technical contributions to Ghana’s automotive industry.
The delegation also visited the Noguchi Memorial Research Institute Museum, where Tatsuya Hirata and other business leaders paid their respect, reaffirming CFAO’s recognition of the importance of science, health, and research in Ghana’s development.
This visit also underscored the Group’s appreciation of healthcare initiatives in the regions where it operates.
To conclude visits for the day, the delegation toured Gokals Laborex Ltd., CFAO Group’s healthcare division, specialising in pharmaceutical distribution for international brands such as Novartis, GSK, and Bayer. Welcomed by Managing Director - Mahesh Gokaldas, the HQ Lead team commended the facility for maintaining high operational standards, reflecting CFAO’s dedication to healthcare excellence.
On the second day, the delegation explored the CFAO Mobility Accra Airport facility to deepen their understanding of its operations, challenges, and growth opportunities. The visit culminated in a ceremony honoring staff members with 15, 20, and 25 years of service. In his address, Richard Bielle praised the awardees dedication, saying, "I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your commitment, your hard work, for achieving this performance and I wish you the best for 2025.” He expressed optimism about Ghana’s economic recovery and applauded the team’s resilience amidst challenges.

Managing Director, Adedamola Adelabu expressed gratitude to the leadership for their unprecedented multi-country visit, emphasizing its significance in reinforcing Group leadership’s dedication to staying connected with local markets.
He urged staff to exceed current achievements and leverage CFAO’s assets for further growth, stating, “We need to build on our assets, make them work, and thrive.”
The delegation concluded their visit with a business luncheon and networking session, engaging key stakeholders across private corporations and diplomatic space in Ghana. Their visit underscored CFAO Group’s unwavering commitment to fostering strong relationships, understanding local market dynamics, and driving growth, innovation, and sustainable development across its African markets.
