The Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, has highlighted the importance of international cooperation in addressing contemporary security challenges.
In a Facebook post on Friday, 7th February, he described the past week as highly productive, with key engagements focused on Defence Diplomacy and strategic partnerships.
Dr Omane Boamah stated that he had the privilege of hosting several diplomats, including Ambassadors and High Commissioners, at the Ministry of Defence.
These discussions, he noted, underscored the need for strengthened global collaboration in tackling security threats that transcend national borders.
According to the Minister, Defence Diplomacy remains a crucial tool in ensuring peace and stability, as nations face evolving security risks.
He emphasised that Ghana remains committed to fostering strong diplomatic ties that enhance collective security efforts.
According to him, the engagements at the Ministry reaffirm Ghana’s dedication to regional and international security partnerships.
Dr Omane Boamah expressed confidence that such collaborations would contribute significantly to global peace and stability.
