The President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Abraham Norman Nortey, is demonstrating that student leadership is not just about rhetoric—it is about real, tangible change.
In a bold fulfillment of his campaign promise, Norman has successfully rolled out a 10GB data package for students, reinforcing his commitment to improving digital access and online learning.

More than just keeping his word, Norman exceeded expectations. Initially pledging 10GB of data, 250 minutes of call time, and 50 SMS, he has now delivered an upgraded package: 10GB of data, 500 minutes of call time (400 CUG + 100 for other MTN numbers), and 200 SMS—a move that underscores his dedication to student welfare.
This achievement is not just about data; it’s about visionary leadership, accountability, and action. In just three months, Norman has introduced policies that directly impact students, setting a precedent for effective student governance.

His ability to deliver on promises within the set timeline—rolling out the data package as scheduled on March 20, 2025—demonstrates rare political precision and reliability.
In an era where student leaders often struggle to turn promises into reality, Norman is proving to be a different kind of leader—one who listens, acts, and delivers.
His tenure is quickly becoming a blueprint for what leadership should look like: service-driven, solution-oriented, and unwaveringly committed to the student body.

As students begin to enjoy this initiative, one question lingers—what’s next? If the first three months are anything to go by, UCC students can expect even greater innovations from their SRC President.
