President John Mahama has appointed Brigadier General Glover Ashong Annan as the new Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Brig. Gen. Annan, a seasoned and highly respected officer of the Ghana Army, takes over from Brigadier General Ziblim Ayorrogo, who has been commended by the President for his dedicated service to the Customs Division and the nation.
Prior to his appointment, Brig. Gen. Annan served as the Presidential Security Coordinator. Known for his dedication, discipline, and patriotism, he is expected to bring a renewed sense of purpose to the Customs Division and play a key role in supporting the GRA to achieve its revenue targets as part of broader efforts to revamp Ghana’s economy.
