Head of Operational Risk at FirstBank Ghana, Doris Amedzro has been honoured for her contributions towards building resilience in risk management activities in the banking services sector, as well as her impactful projects at the first edition of the 100 Ghana Titans Awards, 2025.
The award signifies her stunning leadership qualities and exceptional dedication to work.
The honour also underscores FirstBank Ghana's holistic approach to quality banking services and excellent customer service, and thorough risk management approach.
The iconic awards scheme was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and was organised by the Business Executive Group.
The event seeks to identify, honour and celebrate a cross-section of the nation’s accomplished personalities who are constantly committed to staying relevant in their area of specialty and have used the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately the country.
In an interview, Doris T. Amedzro expressed her profound gratitude to God for the feat. She also acknowledged the previous organizations she worked with that allowed her to impact people's lives through various fund management projects.
According to her, the recognition is a motivation to work harder for a brighter future.
"I am extremely excited for this win. I am deeply honoured for this great achievement. I dedicate this to my God, my family, colleagues at FirstBank and our clients across the globe" she said.
Doris is a dedicated banking professional with over 20 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, business continuity, and financial operations.
She has been instrumental in implementing risk frameworks, drafting sustainable policies, and managing various and complex risk portfolios at various institutions where she worked.
