UK-Ghanaian Afrobeats singer-songwriter Manye Fi has officially released her highly-anticipated single, Rema.
This follows a standout performance at the Ghana 68th Independence Concert and After Party held at Indigo at the O2 in March.
Sharing the stage with celebrated artists like R2Bees, King Paluta, and Olivetheboy, Manye Fi delivered a performance that captivated the crowd and had them singing along to a track they were hearing for the very first time.
Serving as the lead track on her upcoming debut EP titled "Manye Rebirth" — meaning “the rebirth of the Queen” — Rema marks a bold and vibrant introduction to a new era of Manye Fi’s musical journey.
A high-energy, colourful anthem, Rema captures the emotional tug-of-war of chasing someone who’s clearly not serious — but not caring because the vibe is just too irresistible. It’s playful, danceable, and impossible to ignore, even if the lyrics strike a little too close to home.
Ahead of its release, Rema has gained impressive momentum on TikTok and Instagram through an infectious dance challenge and teaser clips.
The track has already attracted attention and endorsements from influential artists including Cina Soul, Prince Bright (of Buk Bak fame), and Kofi Antwi (of Antwi-Ne-Antwi), who have all expressed confidence in the song’s chart-topping potential.
Signed to UK-based Quartz Entertainment, Manye Fi was recently named BBC Artist of the Week, and is set to appear on BBC Live where she will premiere songs from her EP. Her music is already receiving airplay across major radio stations in the UK, Nigeria, and beyond.
