President John Dramani Mahama has addressed the newly sworn-in members of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), describing the tasks ahead as "immense" and stressing the significant responsibility they now bear in shaping the future of Ghana.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony held today, May 20, President Mahama acknowledged the challenges the new appointees will face.
"The tasks before you are immense," he stated, underlining the weight of their roles.
Despite this, he expressed full confidence in their abilities.
"I am confident in your collective expertise, experience, and commitment," he added.
The President urged the members to work together to create a comprehensive, bold development plan for the country.
"Let us work together to deliver a development plan that charges forward with boldness, a collective vision for our dear nation Ghana, and one that will guide future generations and liberate us from the limitations of our past," He said.
President Mahama offered his congratulations to the appointees and wished them success in their new roles.
"I congratulate you on your appointment, and I wish you success in the work ahead. May your efforts be fruitful and guide Ghana into a future of immeasurable possibilities." He concluded.
