Ghanaian youngster Raymond Asante came off the bench to help Sporting Charleroi in their league game against OH Leuven over the weekend.
The 21-year-old was introduced after the return from recess, playing 45 minutes of the home encounter in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Asante completed every pass he attempted (100%) in over 45 minutes on the pitch — the best of any player. He was also fouled three times, the most of any player to have played the game.
Asante’s influence was clear as he led from the front for his side despite not being involved in a goal.
Asante recently signed a permanent deal to stay at the club after impressing following his arrival on loan from Udinese.
In the U23 league, he’s also been clinical, scoring 7 goals in 14 games.
