Joy FM will host its 6th Showbiz Roundtable in the studio of the Super Station on Saturday, 31st May, 2025.
This show is aimed at helping creatives understand various situations that can affect their mental health, know the symptoms of mental health challenges and be introduced to remedies available.
The programme will empanel resource people from the creative industry and the health field.
From the creative space are artiste Ko-Jo Cue, who is reported to have suffered some mental health challenges, Natalia Andoh (Broadcaster, Voice Over Artist and a Counseling Psychologist) and NanaYaw Wiredu (Creative Entrepreneur).
Nortey Dua (Clinical Psychologist and host of Ultimate Health on Joy FM) and Dr. Albert Sedohia (Specialist Psychiatrist) will give their expert knowledge on the topic.
Hosted by Kwame Dadzie, Showbiz Roundtable periodically assembles industry stakeholders and resource persons to critically analyse issues that are of prime importance to tourism, culture and creative arts.
The show is produced by Philip Nai, with support from Anita Teye.
The previous edition of Showbiz Roundtable on Joy FM was the Manifesto Debate on Creative Economy. Representatives from the two major political parties: NDC and NPP were locked in a debate about the provisions in their manifesto policy ideas for tourism, arts and culture.
