Dreams FC wrapped up their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign in style with a commanding 4-1 victory over relegated Legon Cities at the Tuba AstroTurf.
The Still Believe boys took an early lead in the 15th minute through Jonathan Nemorden, who fired home a powerful strike from outside the box after a well-worked team move.
Just three minutes later, Joseph Esso doubled the lead for the hosts. He rounded the goalkeeper with ease before slotting the ball into an empty net to make it 2-0.
Dreams FC almost added a third before the break when Nemorden and Esso linked up on a counterattack, but Nemorden’s final pass narrowly missed his teammate.
The second half continued in similar fashion, with Dreams FC dominating possession. Their pressure paid off in the 65th minute when Suraj Seidu headed in from a delightful Marshah Kofi cross to make it 3-0.
Nemorden completed his in the 75th minute, finishing off another fluid attacking move to put Dreams FC 4-0 up.
Legon Cities managed a late consolation in the 87th minute, as Albert Adoma converted from the penalty spot to make it 4-1.
The win sees Dreams FC finish the season in 6th place with 52 points, while Legon Cities bow out of the top flight in 17th with just 35 points.
