Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Poku has joined English Championship side Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in a permanent deal.
The 23-year-old joins the club from League One side Peterborough after four years at the club.
Poku made 147 appearances for the Posh, scoring 30 goals and providing 30 assists across all competitions.
“I feel like the project they're building here excites me and I want to be part of taking QPR to that next level,” he told the club’s media after the announcement of the deal.
“There's good players here and I think it's exciting times for the club.”
Having played in the Championship during the 2019/20 season, the left-footed midfielder knows the terrain very well.
“I think I had some good performances, good on the ball, I just think what separated then from now was the statistical side of it,” he said.
“Coming into this team where there's a lot of good attacking players and good all-rounded players as well, I think I'll create more chances, be at the end of a lot of chances and get more numbers.”
Poku has one cap for the Black Stars coming in March 2021.
