Dutch-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Jayden Addai, is inching closer to a summer move to Italian side Como 1907.
The winger is expected to join the Serie A side from AZ Alkmaar in a permanent deal after struggling to nail down a spot in the Eredivisie outfit.
Addai, a member of the AZ team that won the UEFA Youth League, has found minutes hard to come by after coming close to the first team, prompting a move away from his boyhood club.
The 19-year-old has already undergone his medical tests at the Serie A side ahead of completing the switch.
The two teams reached an agreement for the sale of the player over the weekend, with AZ expected to receive 14 million euros for the forward.
Addai travelled to Italy earlier this week to visit the club before making a decision to join Cesc Fabregas' side ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Last season, Addai made 17 league appearances for AZ, scoring just once while also adding two goals from two appearances in the KNVB Beker competition.
