Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Botafogo striker Igor Jesus.
The Brazil international has signed a four-year deal at the City Ground, for a reported £10m fee, as Forest prepare to return to European competition for the first time since 1995-96.
Jesus helped Botafogo qualify for the knockout stages of the Club World Cup and scored twice in the tournament, including the winner against Paris St-Germain.
"I'm really happy to be part of this new story, especially at a club like Nottingham Forest," said the 24-year-old.
"I didn't have to think twice about the offer. I embraced the project they sent me and I am delighted to be coming here and hope to do some great work."
Forest had been tracking Jesus for a number of years and he will add competition and support for Chris Wood, who scored 20 goals last season as Forest finished seventh in the Premier League.
Jesus scored on his international debut against Chile in October and helped Botafogo win Serie A and the Copa Libertadores last season.
"Igor joins a strong and united squad, we are sure he will settle well into our group," added chief football officer Ross Wilson.
