The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has invited journalist and former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom-Otchere, to present himself for questioning in connection with a corruption probe involving a revenue assurance audit contract.
In a letter dated 25th July, 2025, the OSP identified Adom-Otchere as a suspect in its ongoing investigation into alleged corruption and corruption-related offences stemming from the said contract between GACL and a private firm.
The letter asks Adom-Otchere to appear before investigators at the OSP’s South Ridge office on Thursday, 31st July, 2025.
Paul Adom-Otchere, when reached over the phone, confirmed to Myjoyonline.com that he has indeed been served with the OSP’s invitation letter.
He said his lawyers have written to the OSP for a Monday, August 4 date, as they are currently engaged in court proceedings in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
Paul, however, expressed surprise that he, as former Board Chairman, would be the target of investigations into issues emanating from management decisions when members of the management team and the managing director are all available.
