Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to agricultural development and youth empowerment with a donation of branded T-shirts to the International Association of Students in Agriculture (IAAS), University of Ghana.
This was during the launch of the 2025 Green Week Celebrations held on August 4.
The presentation was made by the Sales and Marketing team of Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited, led by Oheneba Kwame Darko, Sales & Marketing Manager (West and Central Africa), who handed over the branded T-shirts on behalf of the company.
The donation was received by Mrs. Barbara Blankson, Administrator of the College of Agriculture, in the presence of distinguished faculty members, including Professor Daniel Adu Ankrah, Head of Department of Agricultural Extension, and Dr. Justice Owusu-Bempah, Senior Lecturer and Head of Department, Family and Consumer Sciences.

Executives and selected members of IAAS were also in attendance to witness the symbolic presentation.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Darko emphasised that Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited sees the Green Week as more than just a student activity.
“This celebration aligns with our values of promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting the next generation of agricultural professionals.
"As a company whose tools are trusted by farmers across Ghana and beyond, we believe it is important to invest not only in today’s farmers but also in the future leaders of agriculture,” he said.
Mrs. Blankson, on behalf of the College of Agriculture, expressed gratitude to Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited for the timely support.

She highlighted that such collaborations between academia and industry encourage students to feel valued and motivated to pursue innovative ideas in agriculture.
The UG Green Week Celebration, organised annually by IAAS, is a flagship event that raises awareness on sustainable agricultural practices, food security, climate action, and the importance of agribusiness to national development.
The week-long activities include panel discussions, exhibitions, seminars, and community engagement programs.

Through this donation, Crocodile Matchets Ghana Limited continues to demonstrate its dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), particularly in the fields of education, agriculture, and youth development.
The company remains committed to playing its part in shaping a sustainable agricultural future for Ghana and the wider West and Central African region.
