Ghana international Terry Yegbe is set to join Ligue 1 side FC Metz before the end of the transfer window.
Yegbe, who has been an instrumental figure for Elfsborg, will undergo his mandatory medical checks ahead of signing a three-and-half year deal with the French outfit.
Yegbe’s move from Elfsborg is also expected to see him become the record sale for the Swedish club with Metz set to pay 4 million euros for the Ghanaian.
The deal is being brokered by AIT Management who have been in charge of the player’s career over the years.
The central defender moved to Sweden in February 2024 after a successful spell in SJK where he only played for one season.
Yegbe has been capped by the Black Stars on one occasion playing in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
He was also with the Black Meteors during their AFCON campaign in 2023, featuring in all the group games.
