The National Para Athletics Association, in collaboration with the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Ghana, continues its nationwide talent identification initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing new para athletes across the country.
The second edition of the Zone 2 Talent Identification Program is scheduled for Saturday, 30th August 2025, at Ho Sports Stadium in the Volta Region.
Over 60 prospective athletes from Ho and surrounding communities are expected to participate in this important exercise.
The event will be led by experienced coaches Suleman Ibrahim Aminu and Botsyo Nkegbe, focusing on Para athletics – track and field events.
Promising athletes who demonstrate exceptional potential will be selected and enrolled in a national training program, designed to develop their skills for future participation in both national and international competitions.
We call on all stakeholders in the Volta Region and across the country to support this laudable initiative, which serves as a catalyst for the promotion and advancement of para sports in Ghana.
