Proprietress of New Hope of Glory Preparatory School in Kronum Buosie, Ashanti Region, Mrs. Florence Asante-Kobia has awarded parcels of land and other valuable gifts to more than ten dedicated staff members.
The gesture was made during the school’s 10th anniversary celebration, leaving attendees including dignitaries such as Municipal Education Director of Afigya-Kwabre South, David Akomeah Asokwah deeply moved.
Founded with just eight (8) students, New Hope of Glory Preparatory School has grown exponentially over the past decade, now serving over 600 pupils and earning numerous accolades for academic excellence and community impact.

In an exclusive interview with Joy Learning's Emmanuel Oteng Agbley, Mrs. Asante-Kobia stated:
“I cannot bear to see hardworking staff struggle with rent and uncertainty about their future while I stand by and do nothing. That would rob me of peace.”
Despite modest financial means, she emphasised that the school was not established for personal gain but to provide affordable, quality education to our future leaders. With tuition set at just GHC 200.00, the school also supports underprivileged and disabled children.

Among the recipients was Mr. Yaw Mensah, the school’s driver, who expressed his astonishment and gratitude:
“We never imagined our efforts were being noticed. This has taught me that every worker should serve wholeheartedly—you never know who’s watching.”
Headmaster and former Deputy Director of Education for Ahafo Ano North District, Mr. Benson Brenya, urged government to consider extending teacher postings to private schools and to subsidise BECE registration fees for private candidates.
“Though we operate as a private institution, we urge the government to consider extending teacher postings to private schools and to subsidise BECE registration fees for private candidates, as is done for public schools.”
