The Africa Sustainable Energy Centre’s (ASEC) Board Co-Chairman, Mr. Kweku Awotwi and Executive Director, Ing. Justice Ohene-Akoto are scheduled to speak at the 2025 World Energy Week.
The event, held under the theme “Energising connections, powering a healthy planet” will take place in Panama City, Panama, from October 6th to 9th.

Mr. Awotwi and Ing. Ohene-Akoto will join the World Energy Leaders’ Dialogue (WELD) alongside several high-level experts and leaders from across the globe to shape conversations for energy security, affordability and sustainability.
The Executive Director, Ing. Justice Ohene-Akoto will be on the panel discussion dubbed ‘From Blind Spots to Bright Spots’, which will explore bright spots where innovation, policy and community action are delivering tangible progress on clean and inclusive energy transitions.

Also on the panel for the discussion is Guillermo de Saint Malo Eleta, CEO of Eleta Group, Panama; Future Energy Leader Board Member, World Energy Council and Luiz Carlos Ciocchi; Senior Advisor to the Secretary General and Executive Director, Brazilian Member Committee, World Energy Council.
